ABOUT THE FARM

Hidden Acres Farm has been in existence for nearly 50 years in Nashville, TN. We are in the business of raising quality Tennessee Walking Horses, owning an average of 32 broodmares at all times and breeding them to the best and most popular stallions at the time.

We only break the colts to lead and park and enter them in the production sales each year at the Tennessee Walking Horse National Celebration in Shelbyville, TN. We normally have approximately 20 weanlings and yearlings for sale at all times, many being sold throughout the year. We also keep 3 or 4 yearlings each year to put into training with various top trainers in preparation to be sold as 2 year olds.

All of our broodmares are handpicked, usually farm raised. Our philosophy is that the best broodmares are raised rather than bought. Our broodmare herd has developed over time following this philosophy, because all great horses have great kinfolk.

We also show halter colts about every weekend and win our share of blue ribbons.
